CT Partners has announced that its CEO, Matt Masson, was appointed to the Advantage Global Business Travel (GBT) Advisory Board.
This appointment reinforces their leadership position within the business-travel industry and reflects the company’s commitment to aligning with the foremost leaders in the sector.
The GBT Advisory Board is a newly formed body established by The Advantage Travel Partnership to guide the strategic direction of its global-business-travel division. GBT is part of The Advantage Travel Partnership, the UK’s largest independent travel-agency network, representing over 750 travel businesses. GBT has global reach, with a footprint spanning 83 countries and over 96 network partners, generating over $30 billion in annual global sales.
CT Partners, founded in 2004, is Australia’s third-largest buying group, with total transaction value (TTV) exceeding $2 billion in FY24. They are renowned for their strong focus on corporate and premium leisure travel with a consistent rate of 100 per cent in terms of passing supplier payments to its members.
The appointment of CEO Matt Masson to the GBT Advisory Board strengthens CT Partners’ influence on the global stage, allowing the company to contribute valuable insights to the evolving business-travel sector.
The GBT Advisory Board brings together 14 members, all key figures from the global-business-travel sector, including Suzanne Horner, CEO of Gray Dawes Group, and Clive Wratten, CEO of the British Travel Association. The Board’s purpose is to support GBT’s ambitious growth strategy and provide expert insights across various aspects of the industry.
