Corporate Travel Management’s Australia & New Zealand ceo Laura Ruffles has been appointed to a newly created global role of global chief operating officer.

In the new role Ruffles will oversee CTM’s operations across four continents.

CTM founder and managing director Jamie Pherous said the appointment reflected the company’s increasing global reach.

“Laura has an exceptional track record in leading CTM’s Australia and New Zealand region on a journey of continued growth and high performance,” Mr Pherous said.

“In taking on these extra responsibilities, she will be well placed to translate that success on a global scale.”

Ruffles held the position of ceo for more than two years.

“I am looking forward to this new responsibility and to ensuring our focus is on working with our clients to create the best results for them. I’m confident we have an amazing team globally, capable of delivering a much needed technology revolution to the market, and a truly valuable, useable and flexible experience for our travellers,” Ruffles said.
