Destination DC has launched a month-long advisor incentive offering the chance to win one of 10 Visa Gift Cards worth more than $1,500 in total.
From 1-31 August 2026, Australian and New Zealand travel advisors who successfully complete the DC Special Agent Academy will be automatically entered in the prize draw.
The prizes include:
- One x $500 Visa Gift Card
- Two x $200 Visa Gift Cards
- Seven x $100 Visa Gift Cards
Gift Cards will be awarded in AUD or NZD depending on the winner’s country of residence.
The DC Special Agent Academy is Destination DC’s free online specialist training program, designed to equip travel advisors with the knowledge and confidence to sell Washington, DC.
Through three core ‘missions’, advisors will discover DC’s monuments, memorial and museums, as well as the neighbourhoods, dining, arts and experience that define the destinations.
“Travel advisors play a vital role in inspiring and planning holidays, so investing in their knowledge is incredibly important,” Destination DC’s representative in Australia and New Zealand, Corey Marshall, said.
“Whether advisors are completing the academy for the first time or building on their existing certification, this incentive recognises their commitment to expanding their knowledge of Washington, DC,” Corey said.
