Destination Webinars is marking the 50th episode and fifth season of its industry podcast, Travel Agent Takeaways, with a listener giveaway for Australian and New Zealand travel advisors.
Advisors who follow the podcast and leave a rating or review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify by 28 August 2026 have the chance to win a pair of Bose QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Headphones valued at $299 – the same headphones that podcast host, Charlie Trevena, uses for podcasting and travelling.
To enter the draw, advisors must also complete the entry form.
Travel Agent Takeaways was created two years ago to compliment Destination Webinars’ other forms of in-person and online training.
Each episode delivers practical, bite-sized conversations, helping travel advisors strengthen their destination knowledge and confidently recommend new products and experiences to their clients.
Across 50 episodes, the podcast has surpassed 11,000 downloads. Season five features 12 episodes, with guests from Destination Vancouver, Brand USA, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Visit Park City, Vanuatu Tourism Office, Tonga Tourism, AmaWaterways, Albatross Tours, Evolution Travel Collective, Armstrong Collective and the Rockefeller Center.
Evolving alongside advisors’ needs
Founder and host, Charlie Trevena said the podcast continues to evolve alongside the changing needs of today’s travel advisors.
“Travel advisors have access to more information than ever before, but they also have less time,” Trevena said.
“Travel Agent Takeaways was created to make ongoing learning easy and accessible. Whether you’re out for a walk, commuting, travelling, gardening or cooking dinner, you can hear directly from the people behind the destinations and brands in just a few minutes.”
Trevena said that the milestone is something she is incredibly proud of.
“What excites me most is seeing more advisors embracing podcasts as part of their professional development. The support from our listeners and industry partners has been fantastic, and we’re looking forward to bringing even more valuable conversations in Season 6.”
