Emerald Cruises will sail into the Seychelles for the first time this November, launching its inaugural Indian Ocean season aboard its luxury yacht, Emerald Kaia.
The Scenic Group brand has released two additional departures of its 13-day Seychelles & Indian Ocean Adventure following strong early demand, with the itinerary running from Mombasa, Kenya, to Mahé in the Seychelles. Selected departures offer savings of up to $5,500 per person.
Emerald Kaia will complete her first season in the Mediterranean, cruising the Aegean and Adriatic since her April 2026 launch, before heading to the Indian Ocean in late October to open the brand’s debut Seychelles season.
Emerald Cruises’ season will run from November 2026 to March 2027, pairing East Africa’s historic islands with the Seychelles archipelago. Guests will travel from Mombasa to Zanzibar, Mafia Island and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kilwa Kisiwani, before continuing on to the remote Aldabra Atoll and the islands of Praslin, La Digue and Mahé.
Travellers seeking a longer journey can extend their trip with a six-night Kenya safari on the 21-day Safari, the Seychelles & Indian Ocean Cruise & Land Journey, which runs from Nairobi to Mahé and combines game drives through the Masai Mara, Samburu and Lake Nakuru National Parks with yacht cruising through the Indian Ocean.
Emerald Kaia carries up to 128 guests and features spacious suites, dining venues and outdoor spaces built for island hopping and coastal cruising. A Marina Platform gives guests direct access to swimming, and watersports, while zodiacs allow exploration of secluded beaches, hidden coves and remote islands.
Fares include all meals and drinks while sailing, excursions led by expert local guides, and EmeraldPLUS cultural experiences such as hosted community encounters and guided visits to Kilwa Kisiwani and Stone Town.
The 13-day Seychelles & Indian Ocean Adventure starts from $11,395 per person in a D Category Stateroom on the 29 November 2026 departure. The 21-day Safari, the Seychelles & Indian Ocean Cruise & Land Journey starts from $21,620 per person on the 21 November 2026 departure.
