Last week marked the official merging of the Emerald Waterways and Emerald Yacht Cruises brands under a single global brand, Emerald Cruises.

Scenic Group announced it would launch Emerald Waterways as a standalone brand in Australia in June last year.

Evergreen Cruises & Tours has been marketing the river cruise brand in Australia since its establishment in 2014.

Travel partners, clients and guests can now receive all the information they need by visiting the new website www.emeraldcruises.com.au to select their river or yacht cruise, compare vessels, check availability and book their cruise online.

David Winterton, global director of brand and marketing at Emerald Cruises, said: “We are excited to announce the move to our new single brand, Emerald Cruises, at the same time as launching new websites around the world.

“We believe moving to a single brand will support our long-term growth ambitions as a leading small-ship cruise company.

“In recent weeks, our portfolio of river and yacht cruises has seen a surge in popularity, and we can’t wait to return to the water with both our new and loyal guests, as soon as it is safe to do so.

Emerald Cruises offers a collection of exceptional value river and yacht cruises on three continents.

Emerald Azzurra, the line’s first ocean-going vessel set to debut in January 2022, is a 100-guest, five-star luxury superyacht that will sail the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black and Red Seas.

On the rivers of Europe, Emerald Cruises has a fleet of seven deluxe Star-Ships, with the eighth vessel, Emerald Luna, set to launch later this year.

On the Mekong River, the ninth boutique Star-Ship, Emerald Harmony, first set sail in late 2019 with a capacity of just 84 guests.

All river and ocean cruise fares include transfers to and from the vessel on the day of arrival and departure, as well as all onboard meals, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, shore excursions, daily restocked water in cabins, WiFi, and all gratuities and port charges.

Angus Crichton, director of sales, marketing and product at Emerald Cruises, said: “Demand for 2022 yacht and river cruises is very high, as savvy cruisers know there is limited capacity within the small-ship cruising category.

“Emerald Cruises Super Earlybird savings, deposit protection plan and flexible booking policy are all included for peace of mind, so now is the time to book.”
