Emirates is rolling out a new lounge concept across key cities this year.
The next-generation design has already been revealed in the Emirates Lounges in Munich and Frankfurt, with signature Emirates Lounges in Manchester, Mauritius and Istanbul expected to follow in the coming months.
The carrier will invest more than AU$19 million into each lounge to create a signature design that follows guests from the lounge to the cabin interiors.
Customers can expect integrated technology, locally inspired dining, an in-house barista and mixologist and wellness-focused amenities.
Emirates deputy president and chief operations officer, Adel Al Redha, said the next-generation signature lounge concept reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering a premium experience at every stage of the journey.
“These new lounges have been designed to combine refreshed luxurious interiors with the elevated hospitality and innovation that Emirates is known for – a space for our customers to relax, enjoy, dine and prepare for their travel in comfort.
“As we expand this concept and theme across our global network, it will set a new benchmark and standard for airport lounges and further strengthen our premium proposition.”

Upgraded amenities
The new Emirate Lounges offer more private areas and communal spaces featuring wireless charging and universal power access at every seat.
Menus will feature international cuisine, with a dedicated ‘Made In’ section spotlighting the best of local dishes. The lounges also offer live cooking stations, and hot and cold buffet selections.
Premium beverages continue to be offered with Emirates’ selection of wines, beers and spirits alongside a new barista bar concept with a dedicated mixologist offering locally inspired cocktails, mocktails and coffees.
Additional amenities include upgraded shower suites, private male and female prayer rooms and a dedicated Quiet Zone to help travellers recharge. With spaces for private meetings and breastfeeding, every customer’s needs are accommodated.
Emirates has a network of 42 dedicated airport lounges, including eight in Dubai and 34 located within major airports worldwide.
