Ever dreamed of living the glamorous, jet-setting life of a flight attendant?

We know we have.

The only thing stopping us is our fear of flying and cramped spaces.

But if you’re not deterred by those two minor details, then boy have we got news for you.

Emirates is looking for Australian candidates to join its cabin crew team!

The Dubai-based airline is holding a Cabin Crew recruitment Open Day in Brisbane on Saturday 12 May at 8 am at the Hilton Brisbane.

According to a release from Emirates, their cabin crew get a pretty sweet deal, with a variety of premium benefits including a tax-free income, free high standard shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work, concessional travel benefits for employees, their families and friends, coverage for medical and dental and exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.

No prior experience is required but candidates must be at least 21 years of age at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes.

For further information regarding the requirements for the selection process, Cabin Crew starting salary and benefits can be found here.

“Our Cabin Crew are professional, helpful, friendly and service-oriented individuals and we require these qualities in future candidates, in order to continually deliver Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience to customers,” Barry Brown, Emirates Divisional Vice President for Australasia said.

“It is an exciting time for us as Emirates continues to grow in the Australian market and we’ve made several enhancements to these services over the past six months.”

“We encourage interested applicants to come along to the open day, to learn more about becoming an Emirates Cabin Crew member as well meet some of our Cabin Crew recruitment team who will be available to answer any queries about the role and life in Dubai.”

Emirates has been operating in Australia since 1996, connecting passengers to 159 destinations in 85 countries and territories. The airline is the largest global operator of the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380 aircraft.
