Emirates is launching services to Adelaide and Perth by the end of the year as it continues to expand its global network.

The airline will operate four weekly flights to Adelaide from November 1, increasing to a daily service in February next year. Its twice daily service to Perth will also increase to 19 weekly flights from December 1, becoming three times daily from March next year.

Chief executive Emirates Airline & Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said the additional services were part of the airline’s commitment to invest and grow its Australian operations.

“[It also] highlights the economic strength and global demand for the two cities as business, leisure and investment destinations,” he added.

Emirates will also grow capacity to Melbourne with the introduction of daily A380 services in October.
