Envoyage, Flight Centre Travel Group’s principal independent agency network, has appointed Adam Israel and Deniz Ogutveren as business development partners — a move that signals the network’s active investment in expanding its Australian advisor community.

Both appointees have joined from travel fintech company Slice Pay, where they spent their careers working directly with independent travel advisors and agencies nationwide.

Envoyage national sales director Mark Robertson said the appointments reflect a deliberate hiring philosophy at Envoyage: recruit people who already understand, and are committed to, the independent travel community they’ll serve.

“Adam and Deniz came from a business built entirely around supporting independent advisors. That experience is exactly what we were looking for.

“At Envoyage, our priority is to grow a thriving network of high-performing advisors and agencies across Australia while ensuring every member has the support, resources and access they need to flourish. Adam and Deniz hit the ground running with the relationships and credibility to do exactly that.”

Israel will be based in Sydney, focused on expanding the Envoyage network across New South Wales, while Ogutveren will be based in Melbourne, driving growth across Victoria and the wider southern region.

Israel said the network’s commitment to independent advisors was what drew him to the role.

“What sets Envoyage apart is that it genuinely exists to create a home for travel advisors and agencies at every stage of their journey – and the investment in building out this team is proof of that commitment.

“I can’t wait to connect with advisors and agencies across NSW and show them what being part of this network can mean for their business.”

Ogutveren said his experience at Slice Pay gave him a front-row seat to what independent advisors need most and he’s confident that Envoyage is positioned to deliver it.

“Independent travel businesses are doing remarkable work – designing genuinely meaningful experiences for clients who value expertise and personalisation. They deserve a network that invests in them at the same level.

“Envoyage is growing because the independent model is working, and I’m proud to be part of the team helping more advisors access the support and scale that comes with being part of this network.”
