ETG agents score access to thousands of custom trips via Designer Journeys

Express Travel Group (ETG) has partnered up with Designer Journeys to bring tailored, designer travel services to the entire network of travel agents.

As part of this partnership, ETG’s network of independent agents will have to Designer Journeys’ ‘local travel designers’, who create and deliver completely custom travel experiences and curated travel packages in over 70 countries around the world, at their disposal.

Agents will be able to access the brand’s ‘travel designers’ through an easy-to-use customisation platform featuring almost 2,000 customisable, ‘designer’ itineraries.

They will also receive support from Designer Journeys’ travel concierge team to support them at each step of the design, booking and travel experience.

Ari Magoutis, general manager at Express Travel Group, said: “Having Designer Journeys on board will provide our member agents with the ability to design and deliver unique tailored travel itineraries for their customers, backed by the great technology, service and support that the Designer Journeys team delivers.

Designer Journeys CEO Matt McCann said the feeling was mutual among his team members.

“With the demand for private, customised travel solutions set to increase when travel reopens, we will be there, ready to support ETG agents to deliver unique, tailored experiences for their clients,” he said.

Designer Journeys, previously Tripfuser, underwent a rebrand last month, following a major period of transformation for the RACV-backed company, having completed a $4.5 million funding round and changed up its management team in May last year, before gaining ATAS accreditation in June 2020.
