There’s never a bad time for cakes and scones – not even at 35,000 feet above ground.
Virgin Atlantic last week made it happen, launching the highest high tea in Sydney last Wednesday.
The latest addition to Virgin Atlantic’s upper class meal offering, the high tea service includes scones, jam and cream, mini cupcakes and finger sandwiches on selected long-haul flights.
Designed to “bring the romance and glamour back to flying”, the service is available onboard the A340-600 daily London service.
