Evolution Travel Collective has introduced its new regional business development manager, Richard McKisack, following the announcement of its new partnership with International Rail.
NSW-based McKisack brings over 20 years of experience in tourism & travel sales and business development. Most recently, he spent four years working at local touring company, Deanes Coaches Group. He also spent time in the past working with ETC co-founder Ingrid Berthelsen, as a business development manager for Rail Plus.
Well-regarded for his professionalism, strong retailer relationships and regional market expertise, he is a valuable addition to ETC’s national business development team. His extensive experience working with both touring, FIT and rail products aligns perfectly with ETC’s diverse suite of brand partners.
“We couldn’t be more delighted to have Richard on board,” Berthelsen said. “His background with a vast array of travel brands and established trade partner relationships in the region will be instrumental as we expand our representation portfolio and enhance our support to retail agents across the region.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining ETC during this period of growth and I look forward to reconnecting with familiar agents and establishing new connections across my region,” McKisack said. “ETC’s comprehensive product portfolio aligns with my passion for delivering outstanding travel experiences and support for my agents.”
As Regional Business Development Manager, Richard will focus on providing dedicated support, training, and product updates to travel agents throughout NSW, ACT & the Gold Coast. He will work closely with agents to help grow their sales, ensure they have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and build strong, collaborative partnerships that benefit both the trade and ETC’s valued brand partners.
