Amanda Bolger, former head of PR and Publicity at Qantas and PR and media relations manager at Virgin Australia, has joined Luxury Escapes as GM of Global PR & Communications.

Bolger was with Qantas for more than 13 years, up until April 20204, and prior to that she was with Virgin for 11 years. After a hiatus and some freelance PR, Bolger has joined Adam Schwab’s privately-owned Melbourne-based business.

“You can tell a lot about a company and its culture from its induction program and I can confirm Luxury Escapes has an outstanding one,” Bolger posted on LinkedIn.

“Week 1 of my new role as GM of Global PR & Communications (excited squeal) and I feel welcomed, inspired and wildly enthusiastic for this new career adventure. Hold tight, it’s going to be quite the ride.”
