Experience Co has appointed Mark Heinrich as general manager of their Treetop Adventure business group, directly reporting to CEO John O’Sullivan.
Mark brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across hospitality, retail and premium consumer brands. He joins Experience Co following a successful tenure with Koko Black, where he helped drive growth and cultural renewal. His career also includes senior roles at Grill’d Healthy Burgers and several hospitality ventures in South Africa.
In his new role at Experience Co, Heinrich will lead one of the company’s fastest-growing divisions, shaping the next phase of expansion across its growing network of Treetops Adventure parks in Australia. He will be responsible for the business and commercial strategy as well as overseeing day-to-day operations ensuring an ongoing commitment to the highest safety and customer service standards.
“Mark’s proven success in driving performance through people and operational excellence makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” Sullivan said. “Treetops Adventure is a cornerstone of our diversified portfolio, and under Mark’s guidance, we’re excited to accelerate growth and innovation across this thriving business.
“I am really excited about joining Treetops Adventure at this pivotal juncture of their journey within Experience Co. I have a passion for leading teams and helping them grow, and I look forward to bringing this experience to the organisation.”
With 16 locations across the country, Treetops Adventure is considered Australia’s leading provider of tree ropes, aerial challenges and ziplines. The parks feature a range of courses and adventure experiences designed for all ages and abilities with a mission of encouraging families and thrill seekers to experience the forest canopy in new ways.
Treetops Adventure Parks are also seen as innovators in sustainable construction techniques with their sites using eco-friendly techniques for the long-term preservation of the host forest. The platforms are mounted without drilling into any trees and instead use a compression method which allows for the trees’ continual growth to minimise impact on the environment.
Heinrich commenced his role on 13 October and will be located at the Treetops Adventure office in Melbourne.
