Explore has launched its Go Solo & Save sale offering thousands of half price single supplements on hundreds of departures until 26 February.
Travellers are encouraged to swap the every day for the extraordinary and stop waiting for friends or loved ones to take that next adventure.
Travellers can choose from hundreds of bestselling trips in the solo sale, from walking the Amalfi coast or cycling along the Dalmatian coast, to exploring UNESCO sites in Greece and Turkey or discovering once-forgotten jungle temples in deepest Cambodia.
Travellers who book before 26 February will score a half price single supplement valid on departures until 31 December 2024.
While the operator’s small group trips are designed with solo travellers, as well as couples or friends, in mind, 63 per cent of Explore bookings are from solo travellers, whom make up around half of its small groups.
Explore’s programme includes over 100 countries, and the five top destinations for solo travellers include – Italy (1st place), Spain (2nd Place), Greece (3rd place), Turkey (4th place) and Croatia (5th place).
“We’re excited to launch a sale on Single Supplements this Valentine’s Day that’s, specifically targeted at the growing number of solo travellers,” regional director (AU/NZ), Explore Worldwide, Ben Ittensohn, said.
“Interestingly, 80 per cent of our solo travellers are female, and 63 per cent book their own room.
“This is the perfect opportunity for travel agents to encourage their solo traveller clients to gift themselves an adventure with Explore, create their own adventure and discover our incredible destinations.”
