Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate travel management brand FCm Travel Solutions has been awarded a three-year contract to handle travel arrangements for the NSW government.

The deal, which includes two additional one-year options, will see FCm manage the account from early next year.

“We are delighted to have won this prestigious account and look forward to helping ght egovernment achieve its aims,” FCm general manager James Kavanagh said.

He attributed FCm’s success in the tender process to its offer of a “strong focus” on self-service online solutions, a long-term “roadmap” of key strategies to deliver efficiencies and access to a “vast” customer support network, both in Sydney and in regional centres.

“In some of these centres, we will tap into the strong network of Flight Centre leisure travel shops to provide a seamless face-to-face service to government corporate travel customers,” Kavanagh said.
