The Flight Centre Travel Group specialist travel management company, Stage and Screen, has announced a series of leadership appointments and promotions ahead of FY27.

Stage and Screen, which focuses on the entertainment, sports and live events industries, made the announcement following the recent promotion of Wonitta Atkins to general manager.

Matthew Leddin has expanded from head of account management to the newly created role of head of operations and account management, taking on operational responsibilities previously held by Atkins. Aadil Omar has joined the senior leadership team as finance business partner.

Melanie Kennedy has joined as senior business development manager, reporting to head of sales Sasha Sherman. Kennedy has more than 25 years of experience across the entertainment and creative industries, with expertise in the music and touring sectors.

Janine Davis has moved from Corporate Traveller to a new role as account manager with Stage and Screen. Christie Mitchell has been promoted from account manager to team leader, account management, and Lohnet Barton has been promoted to team leader, credit control. Siobhan Baker has joined as travel content and supply coordinator.

Anita Nguyen has been appointed village leader for Victoria, and Nathan Segal has been appointed village leader for NSW and Queensland.

Atkins said the appointments reflected Flight Centre’s approach to staff development.

“These appointments demonstrate our commitment to Brightness of Future – Flight Centre’s philosophy of developing our people and creating clear pathways for career progression,” Atkins said.

“We’re investing in leadership development, strengthening our specialist capability, and creating real opportunities for our team to grow and lead.”

Atkins said the appointments positioned the company for the year ahead.

“We’re charging into FY27 with a stronger, more capable team than ever before. While others in our industry are navigating challenging times, we’re investing and growing. From strengthened senior leadership to expanded regional teams, we’re building the infrastructure to deliver excellence across every market,” Atkins said.
