Fiji Airways is the latest carrier to adjust schedules on selected routes with Brisbane and Dallas Fort Worth flights impacted.
“These changes are a direct response to substantially higher fuel prices and the current geopolitical environment, ensuring the airline can continue operating in a reliable, efficient, and sustainable manner,” the carrier said in a statement.
The majority of Fiji Airways’ network remains unchanged at this stage, with only limited adjustments as outlined.
These include:
Brisbane: From 25 April, services FJ922 and FJ923 will be temporarily suspended. A daily service will continue to operate, ensuring continued connectivity with minimal impact to Customers.
Dallas Fort Worth: From 5 May to 16 June, Fiji Airways will continue to operate two weekly services, maintaining regular connectivity, with Tuesday services (FJ891 and FJ890) temporarily paused for approximately seven weeks.
“Fiji Airways is proactively working to minimise any inconvenience. Customers affected by these changes will be contacted and provided with suitable alternative travel options,” it said.
Customers are encouraged to check their flight status via the Fiji Airways website to stay up to date.
For real-time notifications, guests are also encouraged to download the Fiji Airways mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
“We recommend that all guests ensure their contact details are up to date via Manage My Booking to receive the latest information regarding their flights,” the carrier said. “Our reservations and sales teams are actively supporting all impacted bookings, with flexible options available to maintain seamless travel plans.
“Fiji Airways remains committed to transparent communication and to supporting our trade partners in delivering the best possible outcomes for our shared customers.”
