The Fiji Tourism Exchange (FTE) 2025 launched at the Denarau Island Convention Center, Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort on Sunday night.
The FTE serves as a platform for creating valuable business opportunities, fostering new partnerships, and building meaningful relationships with other participants in the tourism industry. It provides a unique opportunity to network with peers, promote innovative products, and exchange ideas with experts in the field.
The 2025 edition of the Fiji Tourism Exchange (FTE), the region’s flagship tourism trade event, commenced on 10 May with a grand opening ceremony at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort. Celebrated as one of the most influential B2B platforms in the South Pacific, the two-day marketplace brings together global travel professionals to strengthen business ties and explore Fiji’s diverse tourism offerings.
This year’s event has drawn over 550 participants from 19 countries, including 138 international buyers, 84 sellers, and 10 leading global media outlets. A record-setting 4,300 pre-scheduled business meetings are lined up, fostering opportunities for collaboration, new partnerships, and the promotion of innovative travel products.
Hon. Viliame “Bill” Gavoka, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, inaugurated the event, welcoming attendees and emphasising Fiji’s commitment to delivering meaningful and authentic travel experiences.
“In a world facing uncertainty, the need for meaningful travel has never been greater. Fiji, where happiness comes naturally, is ready to offer genuine experiences of joy, warmth, and connection,” Gavoka said.
The FTE runs until 13 May.
