Finnair is re-establishing its presence in the Australian travel market and Sue Watts has been appointed as Regional Manager Australia & New Zealand as of 1 April, 2023.

Finnair’s Australia office was closed in late 2022, as a part of the global restructuring of Finnair’s sales organization.

“Australia being Finnair’s largest offline market, we have reconsidered our earlier decision regarding our presence.

Finnair’s Asian and US network continue to be well positioned to serve our Australian customers traveling to/from Europe, providing various routing options. We would like to congratulate Sue Watts who has re-joined the Finnair team.

She is based in Brisbane and supporting trade partners across the Australian and New Zealand markets” says Tamas Hanyi, General Manager, APAC region, Finnair.
