Inside Travel has launched five new immersive itineraries across Asia with InsideJapan and InsideAsia in response to growing demand for deeper, more meaningful travel experiences.

The new collection spans South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Borneo and Thailand, with a mix of small group and tailormade journeys designed to immerse travellers in local culture, regional cuisine, history and authentic day-to-day life.

Reflecting a broader shift towards slower travel and experience-led holidays, the itineraries move beyond classic highlights to offer exclusive access, expert local insight and carefully curated moments that connect travellers with the heart of each destination.

From travelling by rail through South Korea’s lesser-visited coastal regions to dining with a Geisha in Japan, exploring Southeast Asia with children, spotting wildlife in Borneo and unwinding on Thailand’s white-sand beaches, the new collection has been designed to suit a range of travel styles while staying true to Inside Travel’s signature focus on cultural depth.

New itineraries

  • Majestic Korea (Small Group Tour) – from $14,560pp
  • Luxury Japan (Small Group Tour) – from $16,540pp
  • Discover Vietnam & Cambodia with Kids (Tailormade) – from $3,900pp
  • Borneo & Malaysia Discovery (Tailormade) – from $7,600pp
  • Luxury Thailand (Tailormade) – from $12,200pp

“We’re incredibly excited to launch this new collection of itineraries which reflect how travellers’ priorities are evolving,” Inside Travel Group product director Tyler Palma said.

“Our travellers are increasingly seeking deeper cultural immersion, slower and more meaningful journeys, and experiences that give a glimpse into local life. From travelling by train through regional Korea to a sit-down dinner with a Geisha in Japan or learning about Theravada Buddhism from monks in Thailand, these itineraries provide access to moments rarely available to independent travellers and consider the local communities in which we travel to.

“At Inside Travel, we believe it’s the people you meet along the way who make a holiday special and give you stories to tell over the dinner table long after you’ve returned home – that’s what we’re all about.”

As travellers increasingly prioritise cultural immersion, local connection and slower-paced journeys, the new Inside Travel itineraries have been developed to showcase Asia in a way that feels both enriching and deeply personal.

Whether through small group touring or bespoke private travel, each itinerary combines Insider expertise with thoughtfully designed experiences that bring travellers closer to the people, traditions and landscapes that make each destination unique.
