Pullman Hotels, the high-end, luxury segment of the Accor hotel group recently opened a brand new hotel in Western Sydney, the Pullman Sydney Penrith, the first of its kind in the area!

We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy two stays at the hotel and it’s clear that everything about the hotel is designed to showcase its top-flight services and modern luxury while you stay.

Look & Feel

The Pullman Sydney Penrith is the latest addition to the hub created by the Penrith Panthers NRL club. Situated right across the road from the mammoth leagues club which boasts 11 restaurants and six bars as well as a range of meeting spaces and only a few minutes walk away from the Panthers NRL stadium, meaning it’s a great option for anyone travelling to support their team.

The design of the hotel is ultra-modern, inspired by the ribbon-like shape of the nearby Nepean River. Polished metal ceiling panels across the underside of the building roof create a shimmering effect.

Rooms

The hotel has a range of suites, superior rooms, deluxe and accessible rooms in a range of configurations available, all of which are equipped with the luxuries you’d expect in a top-of-the-line hotel – fridge and mini bar, natural skincare amenities and Nespresso coffee machine.

The rooms are spacious and bright with a natural colour scheme and feature a flat-screen TV with Foxtel Business IQ and over 1,000 free movies as well as Chromecast connectivity, perfect for enjoying while lying back on what is one of the comfiest hotel beds I have had the pleasure of resting my head on.

Dining

Pullman Sydney Penrith brings a new level of sophistication to Western Sydney’s dining scene with Marcal Bar and Bistro as well as the lobby bar, Tori.

Marcel makes an immediate impression with a Bauhaus-inspired design in subdued primary colours and sleek shapes. The modern European restaurant offers a refined but welcoming atmosphere with elegant dishes that celebrate the area’s abundant produce. Serving everything from delicious tuna crudo to tender red meats, dining is an absolute pleasure at Marcel.

Marcel’s adjoining bar is the great place for a pre meal drink, with a range of local beers and wines as well as an incredible list of cocktails, some of which are lit on fire or use bubbles filled with smoke to elevate your experience.

Tori, on the ground floor, is a contemporary take on a traditional lobby bar, offering all-day light bites, brews from local coffee bean roasters and pastries for breakfast, before morphing to a live music and evening drinks spot with a Blue Mountains backdrop.

Facilities

The Pullman Sydney Penrith is home to a well equipped gym with a range of cardio machines, free weights and squat racks as well as a divine sauna to sweat it out and promote recovery after your session.

The other massive drawcard to the hotel is its adjoining conferencing facility, the Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC), which is one of the biggest in the western Sydney region and is set to shake up MICE market in the area.

The WSCC has already seen an influx of bookings and hosted a range of prestigious events, including the Penrith Panthers end of year awards night following their third successive NRL premiership. You can read more about the HERE.

Final Verdict

The Pullman Sydney Penrith is the first of its kind in Western Sydney and will be a favourite among travelling NRL fans, local visitors and business travellers alike.

The addition of the Marcel restaurant and bar as well as the world class Western Sydney Conference Centre will greatly promote the Penrith area as a hub in the west and with that, we’re happy to give the hotel full marks!
