CWT Meetings and Events has appointed Sam Lay as Senior Director for Asia Pacific
He will report to Cindy Fisher, Senior Vice President and Global Head, CWT Meetings & Events.
Based in Singapore, Sam will lead a team of meetings and events (M&E) specialists across key markets in Asia Pacific.
He will be responsible for expanding CWT Meetings & Events’ business in this high-growth region by creating engaging and memorable events for clients, while helping them maximize the return on investment on their M&E spend.
Sam brings more than 17 years of experience in the M&E industry, having worked at organizations across the value chain including the Singapore Tourism Board, MSD and Suntec International.

Revolution360 Sydney, today announces the appointment of Angela Ward as the new Head of Events APAC.
Angela will now be responsible for running the Events and Experiential teams for Revolution360 across the Asia-Pacific region with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Jakarta.
Angela joined Revolution360 in 2014 as Senior Account Manager, and like in other agencies, her passion for events quickly resulted in her moving through the ranks. Now, with four years at Revolution360 already under her belt, plus 14 years of industry experience, Angela will bring her extensive talent and knowledge to further enhance Revolution360’s growing footprint in the APAC market.

Aqua-Aston Hospitality appoints Alexander Dale Executive Chef at Aqua Kauai Beach Resort
Aqua-Aston Hospitality has announced the appointment of Alexander Dale to the role of executive chef at Aqua Kauai Beach Resort, a pristine 25-acre resort on Kauai’s longest eastern coast beach.
Dale hails most recently from the well-known Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s famed North Shore, where he served up a menu utilizing ingredients from the island’s community-based farms to surfing royalty, guests and locals. A third-generation chef inspired by his family’s Italian culinary tradition, Dale maintains copies of the original recipes from his grandfather, Alfredo Dilisio, a silent film actor and chef who opened his own restaurant with a loan from the famed fellow silent actor, Charlie Chaplin.
While living in Newport Beach, California, Dale developed a deep appreciation for the sea and secured his first culinary job at the world-famous Newport Beach institution, The Crab Cooker. Dale’s early experiences shaped his approach to preparing the finest locally sourced cuisine. He also served as chief culinary officer for Sea Legs Wine Bar which was awarded “Best California Cuisine” in four out of the five years that Dale was there. He graduated with high honors at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Los Angeles, California.
