British Airways is launching an investigation following an exposé on one of the airline’s flight attendants who claimed she was engaging in sex work on board flights.
According to The US Sun the flight attendant, who is also a sex worker, attracts clients by taking “risque” photos of herself in her British Airways uniform while appearing to be working on a flight.
One image obtained by The Sun shows the attendant pulling up her skirt in the galley kitchen while another allegedly shows her in a cabin toilet wearing just stockings under her British Airways uniform with the caption “no panties on Sundays”.
The attendant told The Sun she was a member of British Airway’s Heathrow-based crew.
She also told the publication she sells her underwear for $45 and requires a $90 “securing fee” to meet and can provide sexual services during flights.
“If you ever want adult entertainment on-board, all you have to do is give me a sum of money and you’ll be treated to a whole different experience of your choice,” she said.

The Sun also claims to have seen a photo of her on a hotel bed in Edinburgh holding a glass of wine between her toes with the caption “Nothing better than getting drunk with my pilot so he can do whatever he wants to me. Cheers”.
The flight attendants actions have received condemnation and anti-sex worker discrimination from other flight attendants.
“She is wearing the airline uniform and there’s no doubt she’s a stewardess,” one flight attendant told The Sun.
“It is shocking dereliction of duty and not the image BA wants of its cabin crew.”
However, another flight attendant said her actions raise a “serious point”.
“This highlights a serious point in that many staff can’t afford to live on reduced wages since the cutbacks, and she is raising funds in her own time,” the attendant told The Sun.
“Times are hard and if this is something she’s happy doing it’s hard to argue.
“But she is bringing her employer into disrepute.”
