Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) veteran Zahrah Roush has been appointed to the brand’s Global Product Team as head of air and ancillaries.
With 26 years working for FCTG already under her belt, Roush will lead a newly formed team within the product division.
In her time with the company, Roush has honed her business analysis and company compliance skills navigating leadership roles in both corporate and retail divisions.
The appointment follows Flight Centre Brand’s recently announced global product restructure, led by global head of product, Monique Van Gelder.
Van Gelder described the role as central to the business’ next chapter.
“Having a dedicated leader and team focused on air and ancillaries will be transformational, and Zahrah is exactly the right person to deliver on it.
“She brings 26 years with FCTG, most recently in our corporate business, where she sharpened her focus on the air category, drove NDC adoption, and strengthened airline partnerships across our global corporate brands,” Van Gelder said.
She explained that Roush’s experience will be incredibly valuable in the multi-market role.
“She’s led through significant change in a fast-moving distribution landscape. She leads with energy, authenticity, and a genuine belief that the best outcomes come from collaboration and empowering her people to step up and own it,” Van Gelder said.
Roush said that she takes on the role with a clear sense of purpose.
