Global destination management company Discova has announced the appointment of Adam O’Keefe as its new global marketing manager.
Originally from Staffordshire in the UK, O’Keefe relocated to Bangkok in 2010 and later moved to Hanoi in 2018 before returning to his ‘second home’, Thailand, in mid-2021.
He arrives at Discova with 10 years’ experience in marketing, product and contracting work with three of the biggest DMCs in Southeast Asia.
“Having been an envious competitor of one of the company’s former incarnations (Buffalo Tours) for some time, I’m elated to now be joining the Discova team,” O’Keefe said.
“It’s my ambition to help this relatively new but experienced brand rebound as travel restarts, continuing the good work already underway.
“The aim is to firmly establish Discova as a key player in the industry while doing everything possible to raise brand awareness in our target markets.”
Discova’s global director of sales and marketing, Andrew Turner, said: “We are thrilled to have Adam and his wealth of experience joining our team during a period of such transformation for the industry.
“Adam will be a great asset to the Discova business as we look to grow and start seeing international borders open.”
O’Keefe commenced his new role on 11 October and is based in Thailand.
Discova was born in July 2019 from a merger of Buffalo Tours and Olympus Tours Americas, and currently operates in 14 countries across Asia and the Americas.
