Inspiring Vacations is broadening its Africa offering, with an expanded collection spanning four regions and more than 10 countries.

The expansion follows another strong year for the operator, which has been named Australia’s Leading Tour Operator at the 2026 World Travel Awards for the fourth consecutive year, and Oceania’s Leading Tour Operator for the third year running.

It is also an official Velocity Frequent Flyer partner, with travellers earning one Velocity Point per eligible $1 spent with Inspiring Vacations.

The range stretches from the Great Migration and Big Five of East and Southern Africa to Zanzibar and the cultural riches of North Africa, with journeys of 11 to 28 days.

Southern Africa

Southern Africa is a study in contrasts, with experiences ranging from Cape Town and the vineyards of Franschhoek to Kruger, Victoria Falls, Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Namibia’s Sossusvlei. There are Big Five and Big Seven sightings, but also wine, waterfalls and desert.

Southern Africa’s dry months from May to October draw wildlife towards precious water sources, creating prime conditions for encounters.

The 13 Day Cape, Kruger & Victoria Falls Premium Small Group Tour, from $9,245, combines three of the region’s major drawcards, while the 24 Day Namibia & Okavango Discovery with Victoria Falls, from $18,995, takes in the highlights of three distinct regions.

East Africa

East Africa delivers the quintessential safari experience. Kenya and Tanzania are home to the Serengeti, Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater and Amboseli, and some of the densest concentrations of wildlife on the continent.

July to October is the key period for clients who want to follow the Great Migration, with gorilla trekking extensions in Uganda available on select journeys.

Clients seeking a deluxe introduction to the best of East Africa can choose from the 13 Day Serengeti & Masai Mara Premium Small Group Tour, from $15,695 per person twin share, or opt for the extensive 25 Day South Africa to the Serengeti & Masai Mara Premium Small Group Tour, from $28,145.

There is also the 16 Day Serengeti & Masai Mara with Gorilla Trek, from $25,045, for clients wanting to witness the endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi up close.

Island Africa

Zanzibar offers the perfect extension to an Eastern Africa adventure, combining the thrill of safari with the laid-back beauty of the Indian Ocean. From Stone Town’s historic streets and spice markets to white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and coral reefs, the island provides a change of pace after days spent exploring the Serengeti and Masai Mara.

It is a strong proposition for clients looking to pair a traditional safari experience with a relaxing tropical escape.

Inspiring Vacations offers Zanzibar as part of both the 16-day Serengeti & Masai Mara Premium Small Group Tour with Zanzibar, from $19,795 per person twin share, and their 28-day South Africa to the Serengeti & Masai Mara with Zanzibar, from $33,395 per person twin share.

North Africa

The north is particularly well suited to clients whose idea of Africa leans towards history, culture and landscapes rather than game drives.

Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia are a treasure trove of medinas, Roman ruins, mosaics, desert oases and Sahara nights. Spring and autumn bring milder temperatures, and the 23 Day North Africa Uncovered, from $9,645, includes travel through Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco for a deeper look at the region.

The 15 Day Magical Morocco Small Group Tour, from $4,595, explores the country’s imperial cities, mountains and desert landscapes. Advisors can also book Algeria and Tunisia as individual itineraries, giving clients the flexibility to explore either destination independently.

Special departure – 2027 Total Solar Eclipse

On 2 August 2027, travellers can also witness a once-in-a-generation astronomical event.

Inspiring Vacations’ 16 Day Algeria & Tunisia Uncovered departure starts at $7,345 per person twin share, and is timed to place travellers near Sfax in Tunisia for a total solar eclipse, with totality lasting 5 minutes and 41 seconds. There is no surcharge for the eclipse and the viewing is built into the existing itinerary.

The small-group, fully escorted journey moves through Algiers, Ghardaïa, Djemila and Constantine before crossing into Tunisia, taking in Tunis, Sousse, El Djem, Sfax, Matmata, Tozeur and Kairouan.

Go further

Clients with time to spare can opt for the 21 Day Ultimate African Safari with Cape Town starting at $21,645 or the 28 Day Grand Africa Small Group Tour, from $33,245, to cover the highlights of multiple regions.

Africa made effortless

Across the collection, Inspiring Vacations offers Classic, Independent, Premium, Private, Small Group and Tailormade travel, with group sizes ranging from two to 24. Premium tours are capped at just 12 travellers.

There are Essential and Premium accommodation tiers, with preferred properties named on individual tour pages, and packages can be booked as flight-inclusive or land-only options.

Local guides, game drives, park entries, transfers and internal flights where required are included, taking much of the operational complexity out of an African itinerary.

Solo travellers are also catered for, with single rooms available with a supplement, selected shared-room options without a supplement and dedicated solo departures to Morocco.

Travel advisor support

Advisors can browse the full Africa collection via the Africa Destination Spotlight, or search by country on the Inspiring Vacations website for day-by-day details and full inclusions.

Marketing collateral, destination resources, webinars and partnership contacts are available on the Travel Agent Hub, and the Inspiring Vacations trade team is available to talk through region, season, style and tier for a specific client, and to quote flight-inclusive or land-only.

There are also monthly agent incentives throughout the year, including the current quarterly Pax to the Max competition, with the three advisors who book the most passengers winning an Inspiring Vacations trip.

With more than 5,000 five-star Trustpilot reviews and every itinerary built and managed end to end, Inspiring Vacations handles the complexity behind the scenes, leaving advisors free to put Africa’s extraordinary experiences front and centre.
