Fred. Olsen Cruises has offered free onboard credit on dozens of voyages exclusive through Cruise Traveller in Australia when booked by 29 January 2026.
A free onboard spending credit of up to GBP 200 couple (around AU$402) has been announced by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines on dozens of sailings from January 2026 to May 2027, with all cruises from 1 January 2026, now also including – for the first time – selected drinks with lunch and dinner, guided walks ashore and onboard gratuities.
The special onboard spending credit is available for bookings made by 29 January 2026, through Australian boutique cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, which is the exclusive representative for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in Australia.
UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines boasts a trio of boutique, more intimate ships – the 1353-guest Borealis, the 1250-guest Balmoral, and the 1338-guest Bolette. Together these classic liners celebrate traditional seafaring heritage and the timeless pleasures of classic British cruising.
“A voyage with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is all about enjoying the journey and seeing the world in comfort and style,” Cruise Traveller managing director Joe O’Sullivan said. “Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ ships are smaller, more personal and fuller of charm and character, with space to relax in style so that you can savour the timeless pleasures of sea travel.”
One of the sailings attracting the new onboard spending credit is a 15-night winter cruise to Norway from England aboard Borealis. The round-trip voyage from Southampton on 8 November 2026, traces the majestic coast of Norway in search of the awe-inspiring Aurora Borealis northern lights, which the Borealis ship is named after.
The Norwegian adventure beyond the Arctic circle features smaller ports bigger ships cannot access such as the enchanting towns of Harstad, Sortland and Narvik, all cloaked in early winter magic, as well as Bergen and Alesund in the south and Tromso in the far north. The journey offers ample opportunities for scenic cruising past breathtaking mountain ranges and celestial gazing as well as husky sledding, hiking and spending priceless time with local Sami communities to learn about their time-honoured traditions
Borealis recently emerged from a major dry dock refurbishment including a comprehensive refresh of interiors and exteriors, technical upgrades and guest-centric enhancements designed to elevate the onboard experience
The voyage aboard Borealis on 8 November 2026, is available from GBP 1699 British Pounds per person, twin-share in an interior cabin (around AU$3,419 pp), or from GBP 2099 British Pounds per person, twin-share, in an ocean-view cabin (around AU$4,224). Book with Cruise Traveller by 29 January 2026, to receive a special, onboard spending credit of GBP 200 British Pounds per couple on this voyage.
Starting 1 January 2026, fares aboard all Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ ships include complimentary guided walks ashore, onboard gratuities and selected drinks with lunch and dinner.
