Subtle Energies, a little-known Sydney wellness cosmetics brand with its home base in Castle Hill, is now on the shelves of iconic shopping centre, Le Bon Marché, in Paris.

The home-grown, locally-made Australian brand, which offers a range of products in aromatherapy, skincare and wellness, was started more than three decades ago, in 1993, by Farida Irani and founded on authentic Ayurveda principles. The brand began after she was tasked with creating special oil blends for India’s Taj group of hotels.

In addition to now being stocked at Le Bon Marche, Subtle Energies is also available in the spas of The Peninsula London, Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas, and Mandarin Oriental Milan as well as in Australian venues, including Crown Towers, and Lon Retreat in Point Lonsdale, Victoria.

“Paris holds a special place in our hearts, not just a city, but as a world-renowned symbol of style, culture, wellness and beauty,” the company said in a statement.

“To see our products on the shelves in such a prestigious landmark as Le Bon Marché is truly a momentous occasion!”

Now run by Farida Irani’s son, Nick, and daughter Kursheed, the company has a range of products originally created with the intent of addressing multiple skin and body issues, while delivering high-performance results for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

All products are made in Australia following European standards of natural skincare with the range certified by Cruelty-free International. It does not contain parabens, mineral oils, silicones or artificial fragrances.

Nick Irani, director of business and brand development, said the company was excited about debuting in such a prominent tourist attraction.

“We are beyond excited to introduce our unique formulations to the beauty-aware consumers in Paris who appreciate quality and efficacy in skincare. Our brand’s philosophy aligns perfectly with their desire for natural, high-quality products that deliver strong efficacy and sustained results.”
