The Giorgio Armani Group is entering a new phase of global hospitality expansion, forming a joint venture with Symphony Global LLC, the private investment firm of entrepreneur Mohamed Alabbar, to develop a portfolio of Armani Hotels & Resorts worldwide.
The agreement follows the performance of Armani Hotel Dubai, located in the Burj Khalifa, and Armani Hotel Milan on Via Manzoni, both of which have established the brand as a distinctive player in the luxury hotel space. Under the new structure, the joint venture will hold worldwide exclusivity for the development of future Armani Hotels & Resorts, complementing the Italian group’s existing hospitality assets.

Based in Milan and Dubai, the creative and operational hubs of the partnership, the joint venture will pursue a highly selective growth strategy across international destinations. Projects will be assessed against strict criteria, including location, architectural quality and the delivery of high-value luxury experiences.
The expansion will include two hotel formats: the existing luxury Armani Hotel model seen in Milan and Dubai, alongside a new, lifestyle-led concept aimed at younger, design-conscious travellers and emerging markets. The move reflects growing demand for high-end hospitality experiences that blend luxury with a more contemporary, experiential approach.
Each development will be conceived as a complete lifestyle offering, with the Giorgio Armani Group involved across architecture, interiors, furnishings, materials, lighting and service standards. The partnership will also draw on Armani’s broader experience in branded residential and mixed-use developments in cities such as New York, Miami and London.
The joint venture has been established with a 20-year term and an option to renew for a further 10 years.
