G Adventures has hired Maria Brufatto as its Global Purpose Specialist (GPS) for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. With an impressive background in retail travel and a personal passion for community tourism, Brufatto is well-placed to support and inspire agency partners across this important territory.

Brufatto joins G Adventures following her recent role at Flight Centre, where she delivered outstanding results in one of the company’s high-performing Mega Stores. With a strong foundation in sales and customer service – and a love of adventure that has taken her across the globe – Brufatto brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and real-world experience to the team.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Maria to the G family,” says Matthew Drummond, sales manager at G Adventures. “Her frontline experience and passion for connecting people to purpose-driven travel make her an incredible fit for this role. I know she’s going to bring energy, creativity, and deep product knowledge to the agents she works with.”

Covering the NSW and ACT regions, Brufatto will be on the road meeting agents face-to-face, offering tailored support across marketing, product, and sales, and helping more travellers discover the power of community tourism. Her appointment reflects G Adventures’ commitment to deepening their relationships with travel agents and investing in regions that are seeing strong growth and engagement.

“I’ve always been curious about other cultures and I also love to explore new places and learn from the people I meet there. Being part of an organisation that does so much in the way of community tourism is so exciting for me. I have sold G Adventures tours for a number of years and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with agents across the region in this role,” says Brufatto.
