G Adventures is celebrating the new year by offering travellers the opportunity to bag a bargain in its Great Adventure Sale, with savings up to 25 per cent off trips throughout 2023.
Running until 31 January 2023, the Great Adventure Sale features hundreds of trips split into two departure windows to incorporate the best travel months for each destination; from now up until 30 June 2023, and then from 01 July 2023 to 15 December 2023.
Spanning a range of G Adventures travel styles, including 18-to-thirtysomethings, active, classic, local living and marine, the Great Adventure Sale also features a number of new trips for 2023, including a 14-day ancient ruins and Mayan Riviera trip for younger travellers, a 15-day India and Nepal Adventure, and a five-day Moroccan Sahara discovery.
Other example itineraries included in the Great Adventure Sale are as follows:
- The Inca Journey – This 10-day adventure features cooking classes in Cusco, ancient archaeological site visits, community-focused restaurants, Indigenous weaving experiences, hot springs, local markets, night time caiman spotting in the Amazon and time to unwind in a hammock listening to the sounds of the jungle. AU$2,474 per person (down from AU$3,299 pp).
- Sailing Thailand – Phuket to Phuket- Sail around Thailand’s southern islands, sleeping aboard a private catamaran. Surrounded by incredible marine life, travellers will enjoy kayaking, swimming and hiking as well as the chance to visit remote locations, beach-fronted jungles and popular nightlife spots such as Ko Phi Phi. - Backroads of Japan – Head off the beaten path and explore a more local and lesser-seen side to Japan. Stay with elders at a community homestay in Hagi, journey to the Japanese Alps, visit the treasured castle of Matsumoto and learn about the samurai culture. - Morocco Kasbahs & Deserts – This short but sweet adventure delivers a combination of Morocco’s must-see highlights as well as free time for travellers to explore on their own. From camel rides over towering sand dunes in the Sahara to high-walled Kasbahs and labyrinth alleys in Fes and Marrakech, this eight-day adventure showcases the history, culture and natural beauty of Morocco. - Kruger in Depth – This eight-day trip serves up a healthy dose of elephants, lions, giraffes and a whole lot of savannah. Travellers will also visit the Jane Goodall Institute’s Chimp Eden where they’ll learn about the chimp rescue programme and the primates’ behaviours and history.
