The Australian Tourism Exchange 2026, the single, largest annual business-to-business event for promoting Australian tourism to the world, has rounded out launch and Day 1 in Adelaide / Tarntanya.

ATE26 is an opportunity for those on the trade show floor to showcase the incredible products and experiences that Australia has to offer to travellers from around the world.

Held at Adelaide Convention Centre, in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission, this is the 46th edition of ATE and the biggest yet.

After an official Welcome to Country on Sunday and the first of the thousands of showroom floor meetings on Monday, Day 1 of the event proper finished with a massive celebration at Victoria Square, the venue for this year’s Tasting Australia, presented by Journey Beyond.

ATE is important for facilitating face-to-face engagement through the many appointments, networking functions and events that have become an integral part of program. In fact, more than 2,700 delegates will come together to meet in over 55,000 scheduled appointments.

The event is about building long term success and resilience for Australian tourism and ultimately seeing more of our world class product in distribution channels around the world, which in turn drives increased visitation to destinations across the country.
