The Travel Weekly Luxury Roadshow wrapped up in Sydney yesterday (Thursday, 5 March), with advisors and luxury suppliers gathering at the Hilton on George Street for the final stop of the 2026 series.
Now in its second year, the roadshows have continued to draw strong interest from advisors, offering an opportunity to hear directly from premium travel brands while connecting with industry peers.
Hosted by Travel Weekly deputy editor Sofia Geraghty, the Sydney event marked the third and final roadshow after earlier stops in Melbourne and Brisbane.
The evening began drinks and mingling before a sit-down dinner where advisors heard updates from our impressive lineup of luxury travel suppliers.
Kylie Chapman from AmaWaterways opened the presentations, speaking about the growing popularity of river cruising and the brand’s itineraries across Europe and beyond.
Linda Seiersen from Aurora Expeditions followed, sharing insights into the company’s expedition voyages to destinations including Antarctica and the Arctic.
Agents then heard from Shane Voss, trade partnerships manager at Inside Travel, followed by Jo Bingham from Silversea, who spoke about the cruise line’s ultra-luxury offering and global itineraries.
Angelo Triandos, founder and managing owner of GreeceLuxe, then took the stage to discuss bespoke luxury travel experiences across Greece.
Aniva Nickel from Samoa Tourism highlighted the destination’s appeal for Australian travellers, touching on its culture, natural beauty and luxury accommodation options.
Karen Prideaux, senior manager of trade marketing at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, rounded out the presentations with an update on the destination and its premium travel experiences.
After the presentations, suppliers rotated between tables for a series of speed networking sessions, giving advisors the chance to ask questions and connect directly with each brand.
The evening wrapped up with a number of prize giveaways for attending agents, including ten prizes provided by Samoa Tourism.
