Garuda Indonesia is offering 170,845 free domestic add-on flight seats for international passengers who purchase an eligible round-trip international ticket to Jakarta or Bali through the “Discover More Indonesia” campaign.

The Free Domestic Flight program offers 170,845 roundtrip domestic seats at no extra cost to passengers holding international return tickets, valid for travel until 30 November 2026, using the promo code INDO.

The initiative links Garuda’s international and domestic networks, allowing passengers arriving from overseas to continue on to destinations across the Indonesian archipelago – including regions outside the major gateways of Jakarta and Denpasar. The airline said the program would also benefit the Indonesian diaspora and migrant workers travelling home.

Garuda Indonesia marketing group head Prina Eka Putri said the program was designed to extend the value of a trip to Indonesia.

“We aim to provide a stronger incentive for international travellers not only to visit but also to stay longer, explore more destinations, and discover unique experiences across various regions of Indonesia,” Putri said.

Garuda Indonesia Southeast Asia branch manager and head of the Free Domestic Flight project management office, Agny Gallus Pratama, said the program was intended to spread the economic benefits of tourism beyond Indonesia’s main entry points.

“When travellers stay longer and visit more destinations, economic activity also expands – ranging from hotels, local transportation and restaurants to culinary MSMEs and various tourism activities in the region,” Pratama said.

Bookings, eligible flights, travel periods and route options are available on Garuda Indonesia’s website.
