Gate 1 Travel is not your usual, run-of-the-mill tour companies promising the world and delivering only a small, curated version of it.

Founded in 1981 with 3 employees, Gate 1 now boasts more than 400 employees in their international offices that offer around-the-clock support to travellers.

Though, it’s not just the number of employees separating Gate 1 Travel from other companies.

More than anything; it’s the attention to detail and extreme care taken when organising any trip, be it an independent holiday or group.

Gate 1 Travel offers escorted tours, European river cruises, independent holidays and customised international travel packages.

Offering diverse tour destinations across all continents, Gate 1 Travel can even take travellers to Antarctica.

Gate 1’s European River Cruising is the most popular product and also among the cheapest in the market, with a deluxe 7-night Danube River cruise from $2069 pp.

Gate 1 Travel operates its own ships which travel along the Rhine, Danube & Holland’s waterways.

In the mission statement Gate 1 Travel promises, “ To deliver More of the World for Less by developing quality, affordable holidays for Australians.

“To provide exemplary service to our customers and to earn their loyalty. To respect our partners.

“To invest in our employees, providing a safe and comfortable work environment. To know and understand our products and destinations.

“To constantly innovate and be a leader in technology.”

Considering Gate 1 welcomes more than 200,000 travellers each year, the company is clearly taking the mission statement seriously, and it’s paying off.

In a recent survey, 100 per cent of Gate 1 Travellers said they would travel with the company again.

While the cheaper prices are definitely worth a mention, what really has travellers returning is Gate 1 Travel’s quality of service.

Though, Gate 1 is not only a favourite for travellers, with the company offering a plethora of agent bonuses when you book a tour with them.

Firstly, Gate 1 Travel offers easy online reservations with last-seat availability, instant confirmations and invoices.

As well as this, agents can earn commission on all our travel packages, including discounted deals.

There are also no credit card fees, with the company giving an extra 5 per cent off the balance when it’s paid by cheque or EFT.

But don’t just listen to us, check out Gate 1 Travel and all of the incredible experiences offered right here.

Get in quick, there are discounts you definitely don’t want to miss.
