Making its return next month is The Lakes Festival from the Central Coast Council, featuring more than 30 events making a splash from 4 – 13 November.

The 10-day festival will host an array of sporting, family, cultural, educational, art and live music events on and nearby the water around the Central Coast.

The Lakes Festival will kick off with the ‘Light Up The Lake’ event at Memorial park, The Entrance, featuring live music, fun activities, fantastic food and roving performers. The night will end on a high with a spectacular firework show brought to attendees by The Mounties Group.

This event has something for everyone in the family. Whether it be Kayaking in The Entrance, showing off musical skills with Pianos For the People, enjoying Breakfast with the Birds or perusing the Terrigal Beach Markets, The Lakes Festival has a wide variety of events that won’t leave anyone feeling left out.

The Lakes Festival also features ‘Look Mum, Watch Me’, an initiative of the Central Coast Council commissioning program, Creative Art Central developed and delivered as an interactive pop-up sculpture to engage children with limited abilities.
