One of the best parts about travelling is meeting other travellers to share stories, adventures, tips, drinks and even a ride with.
So you’re solo traveller that would like to connect other with travellers? No problem. Are you an RV/caravaner that only wants to meet with other RV/caravaners? Simple.
Maybe you’re a female backpacker that only wants to connect with other female travellers? It’s easy.
Outbound is the first app that allows travellers of all types to connect, no matter what type of traveller you are.
Be warned now – this is not tinder, but it will put you in touch with other fun people to meet over a drink, and swap stories about the worst hotel you’ve ever stayed in with.
After creating a user profile, and defining what kind of traveller you are, you’ll find all your matching travellers within your little radius. You can filter traveller types, look for certain ages, genders or nationalities, and message people for tips and advice, or to organise a group venture.
Check out the ‘Events’ feature to see what’s happening around you, and who you can meet up with to go to footy games, concerts or pub crawls.
The ‘Noticeboard’ section gives you the Outbound version of a Hostel Noticeboard, where you can post general enquiries to the Outbound community, whether it be about people in Sydney in February, or where to find the best pizza in Rome.
The possibilities are endless, and with the app driven by a WiFi finder, you’ll never be too far from a fellow traveller – and you can save the Wifi hotspot list and view it offline!
