Just because your clients can’t visit Hawaii right now doesn’t mean they can’t partake in some of the festivities being hosted in the US island state.

Here are some virtual events that they can attend at the click of a button:

Ukulele Festival Hawaii

The Ukulele Festival Hawaii recently celebrated its 50th year with a special one-hour documentary celebrating the event’s journey since 1971 on TV and via a live stream.

Watch it for yourself here.

Koloa Plantation Days 2020

Koloa Plantation Days hosted its first-ever virtual festival last week. The festival usually occurs over 10 days to celebrate the plantation heritage and modern-day vitality of Kauai’s south shore communities of Koloa and Poipu.

This year’s virtual festival honoured the 2020 Grand Marshal, Kaneshiro Farms, for 35 years of support. The event was sponsored by Hawaii Tourism Authority, along with Koloa businesses and organisations.

Watch how it unfolded below:

Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival

The Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival has got not one, but two ‘COVID-style’ events for fans of the finger-picking guitar genre that originated in the US island state.

The 38th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival – Waikiki Style will take place on 8 August 2020, and the 24th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival – Kona Style is slated for 22 August.

Both of these events will be streamed for everyone’s enjoyment, with lots of talented artists set to be on show.

Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila and Aloha Shirt Festival

Naalehu Theatre has teamed up with Hawaii Tourism Authority and Mana Maoli to present the 13th Annual Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila in conjunction with the 1st Annual Kailua-Kona Aloha Shirt Festival LiveStream Concert.

The epic annual tradition honours the legacy of Gabby Pahinui & ʻohana, featuring the living legends as well as the next generation of heavy hitters in Hawaiian music.

You can tune in to both on either Facebook or YouTube.
