Glen Kilpatrick has joined Luxury Escapes as general manager of tours and wholesale. Kilpatrick was previously national sales leader at Flight Centre before departing the travel industry in April 2020.
He joined HR software firm Scout Talent as chief revenue officer, before working at Trilogy Care as chief growth officer.
In a LinkedIn post, Kilpatrick recognised his work at Trilogy Care whilst revealing his new role.
“Trilogy Care is flying. Incredibly proud of the work, the people and the impact ahead for thousands of older Australians and their families. Grateful for the journey and ready for take off with Luxury Escapes,” he said.

Speaking to Travel Weekly, Kilpatrick expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, adding that travel agents will be a key focus over the coming years.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be back in the travel industry, while I loved my time in Aged Care, travel has a way of luring you back and the opportunity to step into a role at Luxury Escapes heading up the Tours and Wholesale, alongside a passionate leadership team and within a high growth, ambitious business, was too compelling to pass up.”
Kilpatrick said Agent Hub would be another major area of focus.
Agent Hub is another major area of opportunity. Our ambition is to make it the most compelling and practical one stop shop for travel agents, offering broad product choice, ease of use and optimum value. It’s about trust in the product, confidence in the support behind it, and making it as seamless and efficient as possible for agents to deliver outstanding, world class experiences to their clients so I’m very focussed on that.
We see significant opportunity to deepen independent agency relationships across Australia and New Zealand, with a longer term view to expanding those partnerships globally.”
