A first behind-the-scenes glimpse of the world’s first Bollywood theme park has been released.

The all-dancing, all-singing movie genre has captured the attention of hundreds of millions of fans and prompted the opening of Bollywood Parks Dubai.

In a clip that follows General Manager Thomas Jellum through the park’s construction site, fans are given an intimate look into the theme park’s rides and entertainment features.

Among the list of must dos is a visit to film studios where you can create your very own Bollywood movie, a royal dining experience at Mughal-elazam and Mumbai’s iconic Victoria Station replica.

Upon arrival, the theme park’s gates direct visitors to Bollywood Boulevarde – an area which is heavily influenced by the tradition of bold and colourful entertainment.

The video distributed by Dubai Parks and Resorts reveals Don, an immersive ride experience based on the movie that sees visitors chased down the streets of Dubai.

The theme park is also home to Dabanng a “spectacular” stunt show, Hall of Heroes, showcasing Bollywood’s biggest superheroes including Krrish and Ra-One.

Bollywood Parks Dubai forms one-sixth of Dubai Parks and Resort’s Dhs10.5 billion ($A3.9 billion) project and will launch later this year alongside motiongate Dubai, Legoland and Legoland waterpark.
