Globus family of brands – consisting of Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos – has appointed former PONANT and APT executive, Chris Hall as managing director of its Asia Pacific offices.
“We are excited to welcome Chris to the Globus Family,” said Globus family of brands president and CEO Scott Nisbet. “He brings the leadership and deep industry expertise needed to drive innovation, elevate our position in touring and river cruise, and grow the business with our travel agency partners.”
A seasoned leader and long-time travel industry executive, Hall has more than 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, bringing his expertise across touring and cruise to the GFOB team, starting 31 March.
Most recently, Hall held the position of CEO at PONANT in Asia Pacific, and before that, held various senior positions at Australian Pacific Holdings (APH) the parent company of APT Travel Group, including as managing director of APH and as CEO of APT Travel Group.
Based out of Australia, Hall will be responsible for leading the APAC teams, and driving growth across all markets in 2025 and beyond.
