Rebeka Belcher has joined Globus family of brands (GFOB) as Business Development Manager for Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia.
Her appointment spans the company’s full portfolio, guided touring brands Globus and Cosmos and luxury river cruise operator Avalon Waterways.
Belcher brings more than 15 years of travel industry experience, with senior sales roles at Silversea and Uniworld River Cruises under her belt. Most recently, she worked as sales director at Coterie Circle.
Belcher said she is looking forward to getting back in front of the trade.
“I’ve spent more than a decade working in cruising across this exact region, so I know the trade and I know what advisors are looking for, Belcher said.
“Globus, Cosmos and Avalon are a strong stable of brands that I genuinely believe in and I’m looking forward to getting in front of partners and building on what’s already there.”
GFOB head of commercial ANZ Brett Simon said the appointment will strengthen the company’s presence in a key market.
“Western and central regions of Australia are an important market for us and we’ve been deliberate about who we’ve put into this role, Rebeka’s background in cruise sales across the region, combined with the trade relationships she’s built over more than a decade, makes her exceptionally well placed to drive growth for our brands here,” he said.
