Globus, in partnership with Flight Centre Travel Group, has wrapped up a successful mega famil to Ireland, hosting a group of 27 Australian travel advisors on its popular Irish Escape itinerary.
A group of 27 Aussie travel advisors went on a trip to experience Globus’ popular Irish Escape itinerary.
The week-long famil focused on building advisor confidence, giving participants firsthand insight into the Globus touring style and how the brand delivers a seamless, end-to-end guided travel experience, with all the Irish charm along the way.
Across the week, advisors explored Dublin’s storied streets, including a visit to the iconic Guinness Storehouse, experienced the dramatic beauty of the soaring Cliffs of= Moher, discovered the charm of Galway, and spent time in Killarney, Waterford and other postcard perfect Irish towns.

Hosted by Mitch Spencer, Global Account Manager and Kate Jury, Business Development Manager – Victoria North/West & Tasmania, the famil provided an opportunity to spend time on the ground with Flight Centre Travel Group advisors while bringing the seven-day Globus Irish Escape tour to life and capturing Ireland at its very best.
“A particular highlight for the group was experiencing how important a great Tour Director is to the success of a tour,” Spencer said. “Their knowledge, organisation and humour, and their ability to bring Ireland’s stories and culture to life, really demonstrated the value they add to every Globus journey.”
“Spending time on the ground with such passionate and engaged advisors is a powerful reminder of why product experiences matter. These opportunities strengthen relationships, deepen product confidence and create genuine stories that advisors can share with travellers back home.”
Feedback from the group was overwhelmingly positive, with many advisors returning home feeling more confident in how to position and sell Globus tours to their clients.
Emily Gottsche, Travel Associates at Home advisor said experiencing the product firsthand brought the touring style to life.

“Experiencing the tour firsthand completely changed how I’ll sell it,” Gottsche said. “Seeing how well everything flows, from the pace of the itinerary to the role of the Tour Director, made it very clear who this style of travel is perfect for. I now feel confident explaining not just what clients will see, but why a Globus tour offers real value compared to travelling independently.”
The Irish Escapes tour is one of the top-selling from Globus’s off-season Escapes collection, showcasing a range of countries and their key sights at special shoulder season prices.
To support advisors in converting interest into bookings, for those travelling solo, Globus is also waiving the single supplement on select 2026 Globus Escapes Europe tours when booked by 30 April 2026.
