Globus has taken a select group of top-selling and wildcard advisors that earned their place on last year’s incentive on the seven-day Music Cities: Nashville & Memphis tour from 8 to 14 May with flights courtesy of United Airlines.
The boot-scooting itinerary delivered a blend of guided touring and independent exploration, giving advisors the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in two of America’s most iconic music destinations.
Advisors gained renewed enthusiasm and product knowledge from the week-long famil, returning well-positioned to confidently sell a Globus tour and promote Memphis as a must-visit destination – one that clearly knows how to rock ‘n’ roll.
Travel Advisor at Benalla Travel, Anna Brandauer spoke highly of the famil and said it was valuable to deepening her knowledge of the destination.
“The experience was truly phenomenal. From the accommodation to the carefully curated itinerary, every detail was exceptionally well planned,” Brandauer said. “The Tour Director, Hillary’s knowledge of the itinerary and the Music Cities was absolutely outstanding. Her passion and expertise added so much to the overall experience.”
The Memphis momentum continued with the annual series of trade events held last month in Sydney, Melbourne and Blues on Broadbeach, extending the spirit of the home of the blues, soul & rock ‘n’ roll to the wider advisor community and public.
The trade event series saw Memphis icon and Grammy-winning bassist MonoNeon perform, bringing an authentic dose of the city’s signature sound to each showcase, ensuring the Memphis vibe was well and truly felt across all locations.
Globus family of brands’ head of Marketing APAC Johanna Raeder said the successful partnership between Memphis Tourism and United Airlines inspires both advisors and travellers to discover such an iconic destination.
“The ongoing partnership with Memphis Tourism and United Airlines continues to deliver outstanding results, showcasing the power of collaboration in driving visitation and inspiring travellers to experience everything Memphis has to offer,” Raeder said.
“This incentive was all about bringing the Globus experience to life for advisors, and what better place to do that than Memphis, with the support of United Airlines and Memphis Tourism.
“Memphis continues to strike a chord with travellers – from the energy on Beale Street to its musical heritage, and we were thrilled to extend that experience beyond the famil and bring yet another successful event series to Australian shores. Having Memphis artist MonoNeon perform live for audiences brought an authentic touch that cannot be replicated and reinforced why the destination continues to inspire travellers.”
