Golden Eagle Luxury Trains has unveiled an epic 22-day journey with six nights onboard its new train and 12 nights on the Golden Eagle with the Golden Eagle Silk Road Express.
The Grand Silk Road departure is slated for September 2026 taking in some of the world’s most remote and historically rich regions in supreme comfort and safety and is billed as an extraordinary new way to explore the ancient Silk Road in luxury.

Guests can explore the wonders of UNESCO-listed sites, historical cities, and vibrant local cultures, all while experiencing the height of rail luxury. From the Gobi Desert’s majestic dunes to the turquoise waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, every moment of this voyage promises immersive authenticity.
From Beijing, guests will board the new Silk Road Express for the six-night journey. This new train offers magnificent spacious cabins with ensuites, sumptuous bar and dining cars and an expansive observation car with 270-degree views. Then the esteemed Golden Eagle train awaits for the next 12 nights travelling through the regions of the Stans, ending this grand adventure in Almaty.
