Groote Eylandt Lodge has been named one of the best Corporate Venues in Australia by Qantas Travel Insider.

Managed by Metro Hotels, it offers organisations a truly unique corporate retreat experience in a stunning, untouched wilderness area. Groote Eylandt is known for its pristine natural and marine environment, spectacular scenery, Aboriginal art and culture, and some of the best fishing in the world.

Located in the remote Groote Eylandt archipelago in the Gulf of Carpentaria, this Indigenous business owned by the Aninindilyakwan Aboriginal people combines your business program with world-class fishing, authentic Indigenous art and cultural experiences, and exceptional nature activities.

Groote Eylandt Lodge has released a special 4-night Corporate Retreat for $2,950 per person or $2500 twin share, which includes:

  • Return airfare from Darwin
  • 4 night’s accommodation
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
  • Two days meeting room hire with morning and afternoon tea
  • One day guided sports fishing adventure
  • Introduction to Anindilyakwa culture
  • All transfers on Groote Eylandt

The Lodge is ideal for board meetings and small group functions, with the capacity to cater for up to 80 people.  Full corporate support and equipment is available on site.

With same day connectivity to and from all Australian capitals, delegates can arrive on Monday and leave on Friday, recharged, rejuvenated and ready to reach new targets for the year ahead.

The on-site Sports Fishing Operation provides delegates with one of the most thrilling sports fishing experiences in the world. The 300 square kilometres of prime, virtually unfished water surrounding the lodge is home to some of the most prized species in the world: marlin and sailfish, hard-hitting blue water species, plucky reef fish and the iconic barramundi.

Groote Eylandt has same day connecting flights from all Australian capital cities.
