Groups by Beyond has appointed Mark Haddad as the new national sales manager for groups, bringing his 30 years of experience, wealth of knowledge, and passion for travel to his new role.

His extensive background in the travel sector encompasses diverse roles from retail and corporate agencies to airlines, wholesales, and product development.

“I am thrilled to step into this role and work closely with travel agents to create customised and unique group experiences in beautiful regions such as Croatia, the Balkans, the Baltics, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, India, and Sri Lanka,” Haddad said.

“Travel is about more than just the destination; it’s about the connections we make and the memories we create along the way. I look forward to collaborating with agents to craft unforgettable journeys that reflect the interests and desires of their clients.”

Haddad’s passion for travel is evident in his personal adventures; he has explored approximately 60 countries and aims to reach 100. His favorite destinations – Croatia, Brazil, and Japan – highlight his appreciation for the rich cultural diversity and warm hospitality found around the globe. Mark believes that travel is a powerful tool for personal growth and connection, and he is eager to share this philosophy with others.

In addition to his extensive travel experience, Mark has a knack for public speaking, often engaging with clubs, retiree groups, and Probus Clubs to inspire others to embark on their adventures. He emphasises that his approach to group travel is less about selling a product and more about igniting a desire to explore.

“We are pleased to welcome Mark aboard, as he brings a wealth of knowledge and trusted relationships with many travel agents,” Groups by Beyond director, Tony Gattari, said. “His experience and passion for group travel align perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.”

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mark enjoys unwinding with rugby league and soccer, both domestically and internationally. He values the importance of balancing hard work with enjoying life’s finer moments. Mark’s approach to life and work embodies a commitment to creating happy, healthy, and fulfilling experiences.
