Hawai’i Tourism Oceania and Hawaiian Airlines hosted travel industry professionals and their guests for a special screening of the Lilo & Stitch movie in Sydney last Friday 23 May.
The event featured an unforgettable prize thanks to Outrigger Hotels and Resorts and Hawaiian Airlines.
Despite the rain, travel agents and trade media, along with their families and plus-ones, gathered for a night of nostalgia and laughter, celebrating the heartwarming story of friendship and ʻohana (family).
Guests heard from Alba Aradillos (Hawaiian Airlines), Maria Alaveras (Outrigger Hospitality Group), and Anna Riedel (Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania), who each shared updates. From what’s new in the air and on the ground in Hawai‘i to the filming locations featured in the new Walt Disney live-action release of Lilo & Stitch.
The highlight of the evening was a prize draw, awarding one lucky attendee a dream Hawai‘i getaway:
- 2 x return airfares from Sydney to Honolulu with Hawaiian Airlines
- 3 nights at Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel
- 2 tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Auana
The event offered an opportunity to connect with the travel trade community in a relaxed setting, spotlight the continued collaboration between the Australian market and the Hawaiian Islands, and say mahalo (thank you) to agents for their ongoing support.
Hawaiian Airlines is also celebrating the release of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, with playful new looks in the skies. Travellers can now spot Stitch striking his best Pualani profile on Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 aircraft, the first of three specially designed liveries. Hawaiian will shortly introduce its second livery design – a narrow-body Airbus A321 covered in Stitch’s wildly creative masterpiece – with the third design on Hawaiian Airline’s Boeing 717 to be revealed next month.
